While the number of scholarships available to fund international academic experiences is constantly growing, IPC has curated a list of featured scholarship opportunities to give you a place to begin your search.
Featured UNCG Department Scholarships
BRYAN
- Doris B. Meritt & Joseph E. Meritt International Study Fund: Bryan School students participating in a university-sponsored international travel program.
- Hazel and James Epting International Study Fund: Bryan School students participating in a university-sponsored international travel program.
- Kathryn Rettew Bregman Scholarship: Bryan School students participating in a university-sponsored international travel program in China.

- Jewel and Bob Hoogstoel International Scholarship: Students studying abroad majoring in Interior Architecture.

Featured Prestigious National and International Fellowships
- Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program: For Pell-eligible undergraduate students studying abroad for 21+ days.
- Boren Scholarship: For undergraduate students studying minority world languages abroad. Recipients must commit to working in the federal government.
Featured Area-Specific Scholarships
- National Italian American Foundation (NAIF) Murizio A. Gianturco Scholarship: For "Italian American" (at least one ancestor emigrated from Italy) students studying fine arts, liberal arts, language, or architecture in Italy.
- British University Transatlantic Exchanges (BUTEX) Scholarship: Students studying abroad for a semester/year at a BUTEX member institution in the UK.
- Swedish Woman's Education Association (SWEA) Scholarship: Students with ties to North Carolina and Sweden in any academic program (all genders welcome to apply).
- Association of Teachers of Japanese: The Bridging Scholarship: Students studying abroad for a semester in Japan. Applicants must be undergraduate students and U.S. citizens majoring in any field of study.
- Freeman-ASIA Awards for Study in Asia: Undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need studying abroad in East or Southeast Asia.
- DAAD Scholarships and Grants: Undergraduate and graduate students studying abroad in Germany.
Featured General Study Abroad Scholarships
- Fund for Education Abroad: Students studying abroad for at least 28 days or more. Applicants must be undergraduate students and U.S. citizens majoring in any field of study. Preference is given to students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds and/or students participating in academically rigorous programs that have a language component.
- Rotary Scholarships: Availability and eligibility vary by district.
